This RTF 1200 series rotating split tube furnace is imbued with the highest quality components, in order to provide perfectly reliable results after each use. Sweden’s famous Kanthal spiral wire coils are enclosed within Mitsubishi grade 1500 alumina fiber insulation. This is all encased in a double-walled steel internal housing, which minimizes heat loss. Temperature control is provided by a Eurothermn 5x8-segment digital controller, which can get the tube within +/- 1°C of your target temperature. The unit comes with an RS485 digital communications port and USB adaptor. This allows for remote control or monitoring straight from your PC. You can even save or export your test results.
The split tube design allows for quick and easy access. This furnace is so advanced, multiple atmosphere processes are possible within a single cycle. Its self-tuning PID control optimizes your thermal process with little to no overshoot. Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters make for easy monitoring and troubleshooting, while its type K thermocouple ensures a long life. It’s lightweight and compact too, making it portable. As for safety features, it comes with overheat and power failure protection. Note that this and all our furnaces are CE compliant.
