SDS Series Hardened Steel Cylindrical Pellet Die Sets — 6, 8, 10, 13 & 15 mm
Across International’s SDS Series dry pressing die sets are designed for producing cylindrical pellets from powder samples using a compatible pellet press. Available in 6, 8, 10, 13 and 15 mm pellet diameters, the series accommodates a range of sample sizes and pressing loads.
Each set features polished hardened steel tooling with a stated Rockwell hardness of HRC 62 and dimensional tolerance of 0.01–0.02 mm. A steel sleeve, support plate, push rod and pellet ejector are included, with component quantities varying by model.
Maximum pressing loads range from 4 to 20 metric tons, depending on the selected die size.

Key Features
Five pellet diameters: 6, 8, 10, 13 and 15 mm.
Hardened steel tooling: Durable construction for dry powder pressing.
Polished core dies: Smooth tooling surfaces for pellet formation.
Precision fit: Stated dimensional tolerance of 0.01–0.02 mm (10–20 μm).
Pellet removal components included: Supplied with a support plate, push rod and ejector.
Model-specific load ratings: Select the die size and pressing load appropriate for your application.
Operation & Maintenance
Always wear protective goggles and appropriate protective equipment during operation.
Do not fill the die with sample beyond one-third of the sleeve height.
Never exceed the maximum pressing load specified for the selected model.
After use, clean the die components thoroughly with absolute ethanol and dry them before storage.
Store the die set in a dry box with silica gel to help prevent surface corrosion.
