SDS.KS Series Easy-Release Square Pellet Die Sets — 6, 13, 25 & 50 mm
Across International’s SDS.KS Series easy-release dry pressing die sets are designed to produce square pellets from powder samples using a compatible pellet press. Available in 6 × 6, 13 × 13, 25 × 25 and 50 × 50 mm pellet sizes, the series accommodates different sample dimensions and pressing loads.
All four models feature an easy-release design to assist pellet removal, particularly when working with samples that tend to adhere to the tooling. The SDS13.KS, SDS25.KS and SDS50.KS incorporate four trapezoidal inner sleeve sections within an outer steel sleeve, allowing the tooling to separate for easier sample release.
Hardened steel construction, a stated Rockwell hardness of HRC 62 and dimensional tolerance of 0.01–0.02 mm (10–20 μm) provide precision tooling for laboratory powder pressing. Each set includes a core die, sleeve assembly, support plate, push rod and pellet ejector.

Operation & Maintenance
Always wear protective goggles and appropriate protective equipment during operation.
Never exceed the maximum pressing load or sample loading height specified for the selected model.
After use, clean the components thoroughly with absolute ethanol and dry them before storage.
Store the die set in a dry box with silica gel to help prevent surface corrosion.
