Across International UC Series Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaner / Ultrasonic Bath
The Across International UC Series Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaners are large-capacity, heavy-duty ultrasonic cleaning systems designed for efficient cleaning of industrial components, tools, mechanical parts and other robust workpieces.
Operating at 28 kHz, the UC Series generates powerful acoustic cavitation throughout the cleaning liquid. Microscopic bubbles form and rapidly collapse against submerged surfaces, helping loosen and remove oil, grease, dust, particles and other contaminants — including contamination located in recesses, blind holes and other areas that are difficult to reach by conventional cleaning methods. Lower ultrasonic frequencies such as 28 kHz produce relatively large, energetic cavitation bubbles and are commonly used for heavy-duty cleaning of robust industrial parts. Torontech
The series is available in two large-capacity models: UC273 (273 L) and UC410 (410 L). Both models combine high ultrasonic output with integrated heating up to 80 °C, adjustable cleaning time, digital control and a built-in drainage system, making them suitable for production, maintenance, workshop and industrial cleaning applications.
Key Features
- Large-capacity industrial cleaning — Available in 273 L and 410 L tank capacities for large components or batch cleaning of multiple parts.
- Powerful 28 kHz ultrasonic cleaning — Designed for robust components and applications requiring strong cavitation action to remove stubborn surface contamination. Ultrasonic Cleaners
- High ultrasonic output — UC273 provides 6,000 W, while UC410 provides 8,000 W of ultrasonic power.
- Integrated heating system — 10,000 W (UC273) or 12,000 W (UC410) heating power, adjustable from room temperature up to 80 °C. Heating the cleaning solution can assist contaminant removal and improve cleaning efficiency in many applications. Prosonic
- Adjustable cleaning timer — Cleaning time can be set from 1–99 minutes for repeatable processing.
- Digital control — Convenient digital setting and display of operating parameters.
- Power-off memory protection — Operating parameters can be retained after interruption of power.
- Built-in drainage — Integrated drain simplifies emptying and replacement of cleaning liquid.
- Large stainless-steel tank — Suitable for demanding industrial environments and repeated cleaning cycles.
- Reduced manual cleaning — Cavitation reaches submerged surfaces, recesses and complex geometries that can be difficult to clean manually. Omegasonics

Typical Applications
The UC273 and UC410 are particularly suited to large or robust components where strong cleaning action and high tank capacity are required.
- Machining & manufacturing — Removal of cutting oil, grease, metal particles and machining residues from components, fixtures and tooling.
- Automotive & mechanical maintenance — Cleaning of engine components, housings, gears, valves, mechanical assemblies and other robust metal parts.
- Moulds & tooling — Cleaning injection moulds, dies, tooling and components contaminated with oil, release agents or processing residues. 28 kHz ultrasonic cleaning is commonly used for these heavier industrial applications. Honda Electronics
- Industrial parts cleaning — Batch cleaning of hardware, metal components and production parts.
- Maintenance workshops — Cleaning components during overhaul, servicing and refurbishment.
- Laboratory & industrial processing — Suitable where a large heated ultrasonic bath is required for cleaning compatible vessels, components or process equipment.
Because 28 kHz provides relatively aggressive cavitation, cleaning suitability should be evaluated before processing delicate, highly polished, thin or soft materials. Lower-frequency ultrasonic cleaning can potentially mark or erode susceptible surfaces if the power, exposure time or cleaning chemistry is inappropriate.
