The HC200 Series Heating & Cooling Recirculators are high-performance temperature control systems designed for heating, cooling and continuous recirculation of heat-transfer fluid through jacketed reactors, process vessels and other temperature-controlled equipment.
With a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to 200°C, the HC200 Series provides both heating and refrigeration in a single recirculating system. Heat-transfer fluid is continuously circulated between the recirculator and the connected equipment, allowing precise and stable process temperature control across both low and high temperature applications.
Two models are available with different fluid capacities and thermal performance:
HC200-10 – 10 L Fluid Capacity / 5.5 kW
HC200-12 – 12 L Fluid Capacity / 7.5 kW
The HC200-12 source specification confirms a medium temperature range of -25°C to 200°C and a 12 L heat-transfer fluid filling capacity.
Heating, Cooling & Recirculating in One System
The HC200 Series integrates heating, refrigeration, fluid recirculation and precision temperature control into one system.
Instead of requiring separate heating and cooling equipment, the recirculator automatically heats or cools the circulating heat-transfer fluid according to the required process temperature.
HC200 Recirculator → Heated/Cooled Fluid → Reactor Jacket → Return to Recirculator
This continuous recirculating process provides efficient heat transfer and stable temperature control throughout the heating and cooling cycle.
Wide Temperature Range: -25°C to 200°C
The HC200 Series is designed for applications requiring both sub-zero cooling and high-temperature heating.
The same recirculating system can take a process from low-temperature conditions through ambient temperature and into high-temperature operation without changing temperature-control equipment.
For the HC200-12, the specified operating range is -25°C to 200°C.
Two Models for Different Thermal Loads
HC200-10
10 L | 5.5 kW Heating & Cooling
The HC200-10 is the more compact model in the series and is suitable for applications with lower thermal loads and circulation requirements.
It provides:

HC200-12

The HC200-12 provides increased heating, cooling and recirculating performance for larger reactors or applications with higher thermal loads.

- 4 bar pump pressure
- 12 L heat-transfer fluid capacity
The HC200-12 datasheet specifies 7.5 kW heating power, cooling capacities down to -20°C and a maximum pump flow of 60 L/min.


Fully Sealed Recirculating System
The HC200 Series uses a fully sealed heat-transfer fluid recirculating system.
The sealed design helps prevent oil mist from escaping during high-temperature operation and reduces moisture absorption from ambient air during low-temperature operation. The system is also designed to accommodate changes in the heat-transfer medium associated with high- and low-temperature operation.
This makes the system particularly suitable for applications requiring continuous operation across a wide temperature range.
Precision Temperature Control
The HC200-12 uses PID fuzzy control for precise and stable temperature regulation.
The source specification lists:
Thermal-medium temperature control accuracy: ±0.1°C
Reactor material temperature control accuracy: ±0.5°C
Temperature resolution: 0.01 K
Users can select between heat-transfer fluid outlet temperature control and reactor material temperature control, depending on the process requirement.
An external PT100 temperature sensor can be used to monitor and control the actual material temperature inside the reactor.
Programmable Touchscreen Control
The HC200-12 features a 7-inch colour touchscreen with temperature curve display and recording.

Up to 20 programs can be stored, with up to 40 steps per program, allowing complex heating, cooling, ramping and holding processes to be automated.
The system also supports MODBUS RTU via RS-485 for communication with external control or monitoring equipment.
