The furnace chamber is constructed with premium Mitsubishi (Japan) 1900-grade alumina fiber insulation and heated by high-performance molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂) heating elements, providing rapid heating, superior thermal efficiency, and extended element life. A double-walled steel housing minimizes heat loss while maintaining a cooler exterior surface for improved operator safety and energy savings.

Temperature control is provided by a Eurotherm programmable digital controller with an integrated communication interface for remote operation, monitoring, and data logging from a PC. The advanced self-tuning PID algorithm automatically optimizes temperature control to ensure excellent accuracy and minimal overshoot.

- The optional Eurotherm 3504 controller expands programming capability to 50 segments, offering greater flexibility for complex thermal processes.
For convenient process monitoring, the furnace includes a built-in ammeter, dual voltmeters, and a premium Type B thermocouple designed for long-term stability under ultra-high-temperature operating conditions.
Comprehensive safety features include over-temperature protection and power failure recovery. If an over-temperature condition or thermocouple failure is detected, the heating system is automatically shut down to protect the furnace and samples. In the event of a power interruption, the controller automatically resumes the programmed heating cycle from the point where it was interrupted after power is restored.
