SDS.K Series Easy-Release Cylindrical Pellet Die Sets — 6, 13, 25, 40 & 50 mm
Across International’s SDS.K Series easy-release dry pressing die sets are designed to produce cylindrical pellets from powder samples using a compatible pellet press. Available in 6, 13, 25, 40 and 50 mm pellet diameters, the series accommodates different sample sizes and pressing requirements.
Each model incorporates three trapezoidal split inner sleeve sections within an outer steel sleeve. This separable construction assists pellet removal, particularly when processing samples that tend to adhere to the inner tooling surfaces.
Highly polished hardened steel core dies, a stated Rockwell hardness of HRC 62 and dimensional tolerance of 0.01–0.02 mm (10–20 μm) provide precision tooling for laboratory powder pressing. Every set includes a support plate or base, push rod and pellet ejector.

Key Features
Five pellet diameters: 6, 13, 25, 40 and 50 mm.
Easy-release split construction: Three removable inner sleeve sections assist sample release.
Trapezoidal sleeve geometry: An outer sleeve with a tapered inner wall supports the split tooling during pressing.
Polished hardened steel core dies: Smooth tooling surfaces for pellet formation.
Precision fit: Stated dimensional tolerance of 0.01–0.02 mm.
Pellet removal components included: Supplied with a support plate or base, push rod and ejector.
Sample loading limit: Sample fill height must not exceed two-thirds of the sleeve height.
Operation & Maintenance
Always wear protective goggles and appropriate protective equipment during operation.
Sample fill height must not exceed two-thirds of the sleeve height.
Never exceed the confirmed maximum pressing load for the selected model.
For SDS40.K and SDS50.K, follow the lower stated 30-ton limit until the conflicting ratings have been clarified.
After use, clean the components thoroughly with absolute ethanol and dry them before storage.
Store the die set in a dry box with silica gel to help prevent surface corrosion.
