ChemVac1 Chemical-Resistant Diaphragm Vacuum Pump
The Across International ChemVac1 is a compact, oil-free chemical-resistant diaphragm vacuum pump designed for everyday laboratory vacuum applications. With a 1.2 cfm or 2 m³/h pumping speed and an ultimate pressure of ≤8 mbar, it is particularly suitable for small laboratory systems, including rotary evaporation and other applications requiring clean, reliable vacuum.
ChemVac1 features chemically resistant wetted components, including an FFKM valve, PTFE sandwich diaphragm, PTFE inlet and outlet, PTFE/PVDF fittings, and carbon-fibre-reinforced ETFE internal components. This construction provides excellent resistance when handling a wide range of laboratory vapours and solvents.
The pump is powered by a 180 W variable-frequency permanent-magnet motor with automatic motor protection. Its oil-free diaphragm technology eliminates the need for vacuum pump oil, providing clean operation with minimal routine maintenance.
An integrated gas ballast valve helps manage condensable vapours such as water vapour and solvents. For applications involving significant vapour loads, an upstream condensation trap is recommended to help protect the internal diaphragms and valves.
With a compact 245 × 252 × 185 mm footprint, 8 kg weight and 10 mm inlet connection, ChemVac1 is easy to integrate into laboratory workspaces and vacuum systems.
